Chris Dooks : Composer / "Kind Fascist" of Studio1824.com

Newspaper reviews have flatteringly called me a polymath. While it's true that my role has morphed, evolved or adapted over the years - I changed the word polymath to polymash as sounds friendly and human. Despite high-brow intentions, I am a cheeky and approachable artist. Not that you'd know from this picture!
My sounds used to be quite abrasive and uncompromising. But it’s changing. I have woken up and realised that my music affects metabolism as well as my daily healing (and hearing) process, energy and so on. The act of making it on a computer has big implications for health – for healthy folks too. Which is why studio1824.com for me is so great, it made me make recordings in situ. And what a Situ!
